As I sit here writing this, looking back on another year at Elms Creative, I'm reminded of just how quickly 2025 has flown by. Like so many businesses across the UK, we've navigated our fair share of challenges this year, the economic headwinds, the ever-changing digital landscape, and the constant balancing act of delivering exceptional work whilst managing rising costs and tight deadlines.

It's been a year of growth, learning, and some truly fantastic projects that we're incredibly proud of. We've had the privilege of working with wonderful clients, both new and returning, and each project has reminded us why we love what we do. But as December marches on and the year draws to a close, it's time for us to do something that's increasingly important in our always-on world: properly switch off.

That's why I'm pleased to announce that Elms Creative will be closing our doors on Friday, 19th December at 5:30pm for the Christmas break. We'll be reopening fresh and recharged on Monday, 5th January at 9am, ready to tackle whatever 2025 has in store for us. We've come to realise that the best thing we can do for our clients, for our work, and for ourselves is to take proper time away. Time to rest, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most.

For me personally, this break means quality time with family and friends. It means Boxing Day walks that aren't interrupted by work calls, it means Christmas dinner without glancing at my phone, and it means starting the new year with genuine enthusiasm rather than exhaustion. Our team deserves the same. They've given their all throughout the year, bringing creativity, dedication, and professionalism to every project, often going above and beyond to deliver exceptional results.

The challenges businesses face today whether it's adapting to new technologies, or simply managing the day-to-day complexities of running a creative agency, require us to be at our best. And being at our best requires rest. It requires perspective. It requires stepping back from the screen and remembering why we started this journey in the first place.

So whilst our office will be closed and our emails won't be monitored during this period, please don't see this as us being unavailable. The projects we'll deliver in 2026, the creative solutions we'll develop, and the relationships we'll build will all benefit from this time away.
